Godstone Bowls 2026:

The green maintenance season will be commencing at the beginning of March and will be carried out on Tuesday and Friday mornings between 8:00 – 10:00 am.

If you are able to assist with this please come along as all assistance will be very welcome.

Maintenance of the Club House will be commencing shortly with the help of volunteers. If you would like to add your name to the list, please contact Terry Harper on 07553 958637.

Roll ups will be commencing as normal on a Tuesday afternoon – exact date of first roll up TBA shortly.

Please note that the Friendship League has been changed to now take place on Monday evenings between 6pm and 8pm to enable working members to be able to participate.

THE 200 CLUB

If you would like to win some money for yourself whilst raising funds for our club, it is only £10 per year per number and you can have as many as you like.

Please note that Jenny Smith has now taken over the supervision of the 200 Club – if you are new to the club – this is a monthly draw of £10 and £25 and a quarterly one of £50.00. Please contact Jenny if you wish to purchase tickets for this.

All the lucky winners up to March 2026 have received their winnings!

Tandridge lottery

This is another way of raising funds for the club.

Tickets cost £1 each and there is a draw every Saturday evening where you have a chance to win £25000 and many other prizes.

If any men require club shirts, please contact Gerard Moore and he will place a joint order. Margaret O’Brien is in charge of the Ladies’ shirts so contact her if you need one.

PLEASE REMEMBER IT IS VITAL TO PUT YOUR NAME DOWN IN THE MATCH BOOKS AS EARLY AS YOU CAN ESPECIALLY THIS YEAR AS WE NEED TIME TO PICK THE TEAMS . THIS TAKES TIME SO PLEASE HELP YOUR CAPTAINS

Men’s Club Shirts

Would any men requiring club shirts please advise Gerard Moore of their requirements.

The cost is £28-20 p per shirt to include the club badge.

The supplier Godstone get their supply from only allows for a minimum order of TEN (10) shirts so I need at least this amount of orders. So all of you not owning club shirts please arrange to buy one.

Our bowling green and pavillion is situated in a lovely village setting, behind the green where cricket is regularly in action and the tennis courts.

We have the reputation of being a very friendly mixed club consisting of approximately 65 members and have a full programme of matches, club events, internal competitions, roll ups and social events.

Membership of the Godstone Bowls Club also includes membership of the Godstone Club and Institutes to which the Bowls Club is affiliated. This provides access to a bar (CIub prices), darts, snooker pool and Sports TV.

We welcome new members whether experienced or new bowlers who are encouraged to try their hand at bowling with free personal coaching before committing themselves to buying the necessary equipment – so please come and give it ago!
