Godstone Bowls 2026:

Reminder for Club Members – if you have not already done so can you please check your diaries to put your name down in the match books for games you are available to play during July, August and September. It does take time to pick the teams and it makes our Captains lives so much easier if they know in advance which team members are able to play! If nearer the date of the match you find you are unable to play please just cross out your name unless it is last minute and then you may need to advise our Captains directly.
Dress Code:
During informal roll ups it is multi/casual (comfortable clothes) but if your preference is to play in greys that is fine. This includes the following:
All internal club competitions except FINALS DAY.
Spoon Drives and Fun Days unless advised differently.
Matches: Dress code should be noted on the team selection list where it will be noted if it is Greys or Whites so please check.
Club Match Bowling Wear – any members requiring match wear, please note that in both the Ladies and Gentlemen’s changing rooms there are some second hand items hanging up. Please make a donation to Alan Chappell if you are interested in taking any of the items.
Roll ups commenced on Tuesday 21st April 2026 at 2pm for 2.15pm.
Roll ups are also taking place every Thursday evening 6pm to 8pm.
The green maintenance season commenced at the beginning of March and will be carried out on Tuesday and Friday mornings between 8:00 – 10:00 am.
If you are able to assist with this please come along as all assistance will be very welcome.
Maintenance of the Club House has commenced with the help of volunteers. If you would like to add your name to the list, please contact Terry Harper on 07553 958637.
Please note that the Friendship League has been changed to now take place on Monday evenings between 6pm and 8pm to enable working members to be able to participate. This commenced on Monday 11th May 2026.
THE 200 CLUB

If you would like to win some money for yourself whilst raising funds for our club, it is only £10 per year per number and you can have as many as you like.
Please note that Jenny Smith has now taken over the supervision of the 200 Club – if you are new to the club – this is a monthly draw of £10 and £25 and a quarterly one of £50.00. Please contact Jenny if you wish to purchase tickets for this.
All the lucky winners up to March 2026 have received their winnings!
Tandridge lottery
This is another way of raising funds for the club.
Tickets cost £1 each and there is a draw every Saturday evening where you have a chance to win £25000 and many other prizes.
